This New Dry Shampoo Is The Ultimate SOS Product

This is no ordinary dry shampoo...

Why you should invest
Dry shampoo is a handbag essential for many of us who don’t want to frequently wash our brittle locks, lest we leave them parched and stripped of their natural oils. (Hello frizz!) Hence a spritz of dry shampoo every few days is our saving grace, keeping our roots feeling fresh without having to head under the shower. The problem is they usually leave white powdery marks in their wake, not to mention feeling “chalky” like we have lots of product in our hair. Hence why OUAI’s latest invention sent shockwaves through the industry – their new Dry Shampoo Foam is basically dry shampoo in mousse form. Instead of dispensing powder to “soak up” excess oil, it goes to work dissolving grease and gunk then practically disappears leaving you with fresh, hydrated tresses with zero residue.

How it works
Using a ping-pong ball sized amount, you work the product through sections of the hair starting along the parting. The special ingredient is diatomaceous earth, which works to dissolve grease and dirt, leaving zero chalkiness. It also contains hydrating panthenol so it will leave your locks feeling renewed without zapping them of moisture. It’s the ultimate “bad hair day” product for our handbags and gym bags.

Who are OUAI?
OUAI are an oh-so-chic “French girl” brand, with luxurious formulas, gorgeous scents and Pinterest-worthy packaging. (We suggest following their Instagram for a bevvy of über babes that are giving us major curl crushes…) The line was founded by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, who has tamed the tresses of Khloe Kardashian, Kelly Rowland and Katy Perry. Other must-have products from their range are the Curl Shampoo and Curl Conditioner which are great for getting your natural locks looking ship-shape.
