Rise and shine! The trend for glass hair and skin has swept through the fashion world, dominating catwalks just as it has on TikTok (#GlassSkin alone features in over 236k videos). Tolu Coker’s London Fashion Week AW24 show (pictured above) was no exception, where models showcased this trend with perfect execution.
Glass hair, characterised by its sleek, ultra-smooth finish, was achieved by setting wigs in a wave, before letting the hair air-dry with gel and completing the look with a generous amount of shine spray, providing a reflective sheen, as explained by lead hair artist Efi Davies. Meanwhile, glass skin, encompassed by a luminous, poreless complexion, was attained through the application of a multipurpose gloss on naked skin, plus bronzer for contrast.
