Ama salon launches charity birthday menu

Brixton-based nail salon Ama celebrates its first birthday and launches a charity birthday menu to support High Trees and Free Periods.

Ama, the Brixton-based nail salon founded by celebrity and editorial nail artist Ama Quashie, first opened its coral pink doors on 10th November 2018, bringing Ama’s insane talent to the bustling, multicultural South London district.

The ethos of the salon was simple, but bold: “to amplify and accentuate the natural nail in all of its magnificent glory and adaptability”. Not only are customers treated to the quality of service of a highly in-demand nail artist, but the salon offers ‘free from’ menu featuring polish and gel brands that are up to 90% natural, 10-free, vegan and cruelty free.

To celebrate the salon’s first birthday, Ama has partnered with friends Julia Sarr Jamois (stylist), Ali Pirzadeh (celebrity hair stylist), Studio Moross (design studio by Kate Moross) and Gurls Talk (online community founded by Adwoa Aboah).

Each have designed a nail look for the birthday menu with £5 from each manicure chosen being donated to local Lambeth charity High Trees and Free Periods.
