Take note: braids have evolved once again. The new summer trend has been coined the “Coi Leray Braids” after the New Jersey rapper made the style popular. Consisting of knotless, jumbo-style box braids with a curly whirly end, the trendsetting look just so happens to look effortlessly chic and flattering, but most importantly is protective and versatile too.
Spell Magazine editor Jemima Cousins says: “Knotless braids continue to do the rounds because the hairstyle puts less tension on the scalp and therefore does less damage to your hair.”
