In a bid to get people thinking and talking about their natural haircare regime, London-based Bajan web designer Elizabeth Joseph has set up a special project in her East London studio. The Curl Codes exhibition showcases decorative afro hair, handmade wigs and accessories, while offering information about varying afro textures and how it should be treated.
Her overall goal is to help educate and prevent the traction alopecia she regularly sees on black women, particularly fashion models.
