“I’ve always had a thing for shiny, hyper-glossed hair,” says Michelle. “You don’t need to apply a ton of product to get this effect: blast damp hair for extra texture and apply a tiny amount of Design Essentials Edge Tamer along the hair line with your fingers to flatten baby hairs and control flyaways.”

“There’s an art to achieving smooth locks, especially on long hair,” Michelle explains. “Kent Brushes AH6G Paddle Brush is my go-to. Start by taking a small section and run it through the large base of the brush, applying heat as you go. This lessens the tension and requires less arm work compared to using a round brush.”

“For this look apply a few pumps of Color WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray,” Michelle recommends. “It’s a silicone-free spray that performs like a holding gel, only better. Sweep the hair into a ponytail keeping it flat at the crown and then comb down any bumps before fastening.”
