Europe’s largest beauty extravaganza will be taking place at the iconic Business Design Centre in trendy Islington to celebrate everything hair, beauty, fashion and lifestyle. Bring your best hair game, because Afro Hair & Beauty Live is back on 26-27 May 2024.
It is the hub for launching the latest trends for hair (of every texture, colour and style) beauty and fashion. This year we are expecting around 120 exhibitors including many of the top hair and beauty brands like Camille Rose, Mielle, Sof n Free, Avlon, Mazuri, plus up and coming emerging businesses promoting vegan skincare and makeup who will be showcasing their new and exciting products.
Be ready to be amazed as the jam-packed weekend will be buzzing with on-the-spot makeovers, innovative hair and eco- friendly and sustainable fashion shows. Back by popular demand is‘ Salon Skillz’ our Avant Garde Hair Competition and much, much more. Seek out tips and advice from award-winning experts and check out the latest offerings in fashion from designers in the lifestyle area where you will also find unique products and accessories.
The stage is the heart of the show with presentations throughout the day including the spectacular ‘Afro Futurism’ fashion show choreographed by Creative Director Sharon Adjei of Josh Hair and Beauty, plus a recycling sustainable fashion show by the creative and fashion textiles students at The City and Islington College.
Take in the ever-popular Battle of the Barbers, sponsored by Wahl, see the amazing creativity of our top barbers as they create and use their models head as a canvas to show off their artistic flair.
Listen to experts as they share their secrets on getting great looking hair. Try out treatments from henna tattoos to make-up at the only show dedicated to women of colour.
There is a selection of specialists and new free seminars and workshops on hair, beauty, health and lifestyle. These are always popular and work on a first come first served basis.
