Facialist Chelsee Lewis has over 22 years’ experience in the beauty industry and a growing celebrity client list that includes Stella McCartney and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Tell us about the facials you offer and what makes them so special?
My facials are a combination of high tech procedures and pampering. Each is tailor-made for the client’s individual needs and concerns and I’ll use different machines and peels to get the best results. I always incorporate my signature massage to help clients relax and boost their general wellbeing. I’m also known for the Le Visage facial, which is a deep cleansing treatment that includes a micro-peel to speed up skin renewal and even out skin tone.
What are most common skincare mistakes people tend to make?
Overloading the skin with too many products so the skin gets confused. The way to correct this is by stripping everything back and going back to basics.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I love to start my day with a workout as it prepares me both mentally and physically. I then go through my emails and book confirmations for the next day. The rest of the time is then filled with seeing clients who visit my practice at the Nicky Clarke Salon in Mayfair.
What do you love most about your job?
Making my clients feel good is so rewarding. For me that’s the best feeling. We live in a time where we are all on autopilot, so it’s good to stop, breathe and relax – even if it’s just for an hour.
