Flats step into the spotlight
High heels are taking a back seat this season, according to new data from fashion platform WGSN. After analysing more than 100,000 saved shoes during in-shopping baskets, the platform found shoppers are increasingly favouring mesh flats, jelly shoes and woven styles, while sales of high heels have fallen by 28% year on year. The findings suggest comfort and practicality continue to shape fashion choices, with animal print remaining one of the most popular statement footwear trends.
