What’s a fun fact about yourself that people might not know?
I love to cook and I sometimes do my family members’ hair.
What was the best thing about being in a girl band?
It was a true sisterhood: travelling around the world, performing with the girls and experiencing fans singing our songs back to us! Also, seeing different cultures and being able to bring joy to fans from all walks of life through our music was the best highlight.
Did you learn any valuable hair and beauty tips?
I learned to take care of my hair more. I enjoyed experimenting with different styles and colours but my hair didn’t always agree with it, so I learned to use weaves and wigs. This kept my hair protected from heat and colour and gave me the creative freedom to wear the styles I wanted.
Hair treatments also became a priority, as these always kept my scalp healthy.
You’ve recently branched into luxury interior design. What made you start Home by SW?
I’ve loved to decorate ever since I was a young girl; I would arrange my bedroom to make a calm and peaceful space for creating music and writing songs. Then when I bought my first home I was so excited about putting my ideas together and adding my personality to each space with colour, texture, fabrics and feature walls.
